Afterschool

We are proud that in 1986 we became the first nursery in Liverpool to provide an afterschool service to support parents and carers when the school day has finished. We operate a school collection service whereby your child will be collected from their school by the same member of staff each day. They then either walk to Kelton from nearby schools or are collected and transported here along with our staff in our minibuses.  Our minibuses are fitted with seat belts and are independently safety checked every three months.  The schools we currently collect from are:

• Sudley Infant & Junior School
• Dovedale Infant & Junior School
• Booker Avenue Infant & Junior School

The children have the use of the whole of our top floor and all rooms are newly refurbished to a high standard and very spacious with designated areas for arts and crafts, computer games and general play. There is also a quiet room where the children can rest, read or do homework if they wish.

A carefully planned timetable of events will be delivered by our highly qualified and experienced staff to ensure the children are provided with rich and stimulating activities to keep them motivated to learn and experience new things.

On return to Kelton the children are given a light meal in a warm and welcoming environment. The children are encouraged to eat fresh fruit and healthy snacks and fresh drinking water is available at all times.
