Our Nursery

At Kelton Nursery we offer a range of services to meet the needs of a busy family.

Daycare

We provide high quality childcare and education to children aged between 6 weeks and 5 years in a warm and safe environment for 51 weeks of the year. Children are cared for in small groups within their own room which is staffed by qualified and experienced practitioners. Each room is spacious and equipped with play and educational resources specifically chosen and designed for their developmental stage.

Upon joining the nursery your child will be cared for by all practitioners but will be allocated a 'key person'. It is their role to build a strong rapport and get to know your child as an individual, they will carry out significant observations on your child which will enable them to plan appropriate activities based on your child’s individual interests and help them support and encourage your child’s development. 

Our Early Years Professional Person and Early Years Co-ordinators work in partnership with our practitioners to provide a curriculum that is appropriate to meet the needs of each individual child. In accordance with EYFS the majority of our activities are child led and based on the individual child’s interests.  We do, however, also provide adult-led activities that are planned by your child’s key person to ensure all children will achieve their early learning goals.
