Our Nursery

At Kelton Nursery we offer a range of services to meet the needs of a busy family.

Daycare

We provide high quality childcare and education to children aged between 6 weeks and 5 years in a warm and safe environment for 51 weeks of the year. Children are cared for in small groups determined by their age with each in their own rooms staffed by qualified and experienced staff. Each room is spacious and equipped with play and educational resources specifically chosen and designed for their developmental stage.

We operate a key person system whereby each and every child is allocated a key person upon commencement with the nursery. All staff provide care to the children, however the key person's role is to bond with your child building a good strong rapport and getting to know your child as an individual. The key person will carry out significant observations on your child which will then enable them to plan appropriate activities, based on your child’s individual interests, to help support and encourage your child’s development.

Our Early Years Professional Person and Early Years Co-ordinators work in partnership with our practitioners to provide a curriculum that is appropriate to meet the needs of each individual child. The majority of our activities are child led and based on the individual child’s interests in accordance with EYFS, however we do also provide adult-led activities that are planned for by your child’s key person to ensure all children will achieve their early learning goals.
